Abstract
- Pure SC-CO2 facilitated 53-76% total recovery of crude oil from 30 to 60Â MPa.
- Addition of propanol and acetone improved total recovery at 15% and 10%, respectively.
- Vaporization was reduced by 7% at 50-60Â MPa in the presence of propanol and acetone.
- Effect of pressure on the extraction of heavier hydrocarbons is more pronounced with propanol.
