The effect of ethyl-lactate and ethyl-acetate plasticizers on PCL and PCL-HA composites foamed with supercritical CO2

- PCL and HA composites were obtained by a solution-based phase separation technique.
- Nano and micro composites were foamed by supercritical CO2 and plasticizers at 45 °C.
- Foams with porosities up to 87% and a double scale pore size distribution were achieved.
- The route of incorporation of plasticizers is a critical aspect for enhancing composites foaming.
