Abstract
- Pt(COD)Me2 and five fluorinated precursors Pt(COD)MeX with XÂ =Â CnF2n+1 were used to deposit nanoscale Pt nanoparticles on powdery TiO2, Al2O3, MCM-41.
- Decreasing amount of precursor in CO2 and increasing surface area of the supporting material promote a small particle size and a close particle size distribution.
- Results of SFRD experiments show that Pt nanoparticles as small as 1.8Â nm and high Pt loadings up to 66Â mg/g can be produced.
