Abstract
- Posidonia oceanica residues were treated with supercritical fluid.
- A linear driving force model was used based on mass transfer balances.
- The optimum parameters were 25Â MPa, 323.15Â K and a co-solvent ratio of 20%.
- Antioxidant activities were at the same levels of conventional solvent extracts.
- The proposed model can be used for scale-up purposes.
