Abstract
⺠Benzaldehyde lyase (BAL) activity, enantioselectivity, and stability depends on enzyme preparation, supercritical fluid, and water activity (aw). ⺠Increase of aw decreases residual stability but increases enantioselectivity. ⺠The preparation pH of the lyophilisate is most important for residual stability and is highest at pH = 6.5.
