Abstract
â¶ A novel method for preparing V2O3 nanoparticles with spherical morphology was disclosed by supercritical ethanol fluid reduction of VOC2O4. â¶ The carbon oxides decomposed from C2O42â were conducive to the formation of the uniform sphere-like nanoparticles. â¶ The mechanism for preparation of V2O3 nanoparticles is the redox reaction of VOC2O4 with ethanol in the supercritical condition and the crystal growth was also proposed.
