Abstract
ⶠCO2 - carbonyl group interactions in polymers have been quantified using ATR-FTIR.ⶠChanges in the carbonyl stretching band can be attributed to dielectric effects. ⶠThe in-plane bending mode of CO2 provides good estimates of specific interactions. ⶠOur results are in good agreement with quantum calculations.
