Abstract
ⶠA simple thermodynamic model based on cubic equations of state was presented in order to calculate the solubilities of solid compounds in supercritical carbon dioxide. ⶠThe effect of pressure is considered by using a proper alpha function in the ER EoS. ⶠThe effects of intermolecular interactions is taken into account by applying the Wong-Sandler mixing rule. ⶠIt was observed that the combination of the ER EoS and WS mixing rule leads to less average absolute deviations (9.0%) compared with the other investigated combinations. ⶠThe presented model can be easily joined with simulation softwares.
