Abstract
- Graphite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite have a detrimental effect on GCC brightness.
- Hornblende, phlogopite and quartz display little effect on GCC brightness.
- By using the Kubelka-Munk model, the brightness of a mixture can be predicted.
- The prediction of brightness can in many cases be carried out with good accuracy.
- When graphite enters the system, the prediction becomes less accurate.
