Abstract
⺠IR thermography based technique for identifying and distinguishing alumina-rich iron ore particles from iron ore particles. ⺠By rejection of alumina-rich particles, alumina content in the iron ore is reduced significantly. ⺠Technique can be automated and scaled-up for monitoring and maintaining uniform and quality feed material in blast furnace. ⺠Efficient use of iron ore with increasing grade. ⺠A new horizon in non-destructive testing application in iron ore purification.
