Abstract
⺠CaCO3 addition enhanced pelletised chromite pre-reduction significantly. ⺠Especially iron pre-reduction rates seemed to be enhanced. ⺠Pre-reduced pellet strength decreased substantially. ⺠CO2 released from CaCO3 result in additional carbon and energy consumption.
