Abstract
► Microfluidics method (μSX) is used to extract Pt and Pd from chloride leach solution. ► Leach solution is produced by leaching of spent automotive catalysts. ► Alamine 336 is used as solvent. ► μSX shows comparable extraction efficiency to that of bulk SX. ► μSX can be used for recovering high-value metals present in low concentrations.
