Abstract
⺠In liquid-gas flows, the interface evolved with the turbulent flow. ⺠Recent progresses in numeric allow for a direct resolution of both flow and interface. ⺠Direct resolution is applied to study interface deformation, vaporization and mixing. ⺠Turbulence, interface and mixing are studied statistically. ⺠Scalar PDF does not fit anymore the beta function used in combustion modeling.
