Abstract
⺠Three-phase flow of gas, oil and water in a pipeline-riser system is modeled. ⺠Mass transfer effects on severe slugging are studied using black-oil approximation. ⺠Severe slugging stages and classification are reviewed based on the new model. ⺠Differences with air-water systems are discussed.
