Abstract
⺠An elongating bubble suppressed the growth of a neighboring bubble by as much as 50%. ⺠An upstream progression of the Onset of Bubble Elongation began at the channel exit and progressed upstream. ⺠The amplitude of local surface temperature oscillation increased with heat flux for stable flow boiling. ⺠The amplitude of local surface temperature oscillation decreased with heat flux for unstable flow boiling.
