Abstract
The functionality of pigments and fillers depends on their granulometric state. Typically such materials are intensely, yet not completely dispersed. Any test of their dispersibility relies on defined sample preparation and size analysis. A characterisation method based on ultrasonication and analytical centrifugation is proposed and examined in an interlaboratory comparison.79
