Abstract

Research highlights► Wall temperature in film boiling can be expressed as a function of q, p, G and x. ► Dimensional analysis has proven its accuracy when modeling CHF. ► Results show that dimensional analysis could be a suitable technique for fluid-to-fluid modeling of film boiling heat transfer.
