Synthesis and characterization of amine modified magnetite nanoparticles as carriers of curcumin-anticancer drug

This work describes the anti-cancer drug “Curcumin” loading and subsequent in vitro drug release in order to evaluate the suitability of drug loaded APTES coated Fe3O4 magnetic core as magnetic carriers for drug delivery. The results showed that up to 80% of adsorbed drug was released in 48 h.
