Abstract
Separation of hematite fines was studied by using dry high intensity induced roll magnetic separator. In this study, modeling and optimization of process variables of IRMS was investigated to separate the hematite fines. A three-level Box-Behnken design combined with a response surface methodology (RSM) and quadratic programming (QP) was employed to understand the effect of variables on the separation of para-magnetic minerals.
