Abstract
A new two-fluid model is proposed for the simulation of fully-suspended slurry flows in horizontal pipes. The model is robust and numerically stable. The comparison with a wide series of experimental data revealed the capacity of the model to provide rather accurate estimation of pressure gradient, concentration, and velocity distribution.
