Abstract
This work focused on studied the performance of a new continuous tumble mixer. The study focused on mixing capabilities and the powder flow phenomena inside the mixer as a function of the inlet flow rate, mixer rotation speed, and material properties. It was found that the continuous tumble mixer is capable of achieving a good mixing level based on the relative standard deviation of the outlet concentration.
