Abstract
Two different polymorphs of TiO2, anatase and rutile, were used to prepare CaTiO3:Pr3Â +. The effects on the luminescence intensity, phosphorescence decay time and thermoluminescence defect levels were determined. The phosphor prepared with the rutile TiO2 was observed to be more stable against prolonged electron beam irradiation.
