Abstract
In this study, one-dimensional perfect hexagonal-prism-like ZrB2 particles were synthesized by a sol-gel route. As-synthesized ZrB2 exhibited uniform size and shape distribution. Average particle size was ca. 0.8 μm in diameter of excircle of the hexagonal cross-section.
