Double loop circulating fluidized bed reactor system for two reaction processes, based on pneumatically controlled divided loop-seals and bottom extraction/lift

The presented double loop circulating fluidized bed (DLCFB) aims to tackle the challenges of many industrial processes e.g. size, controllability, flexibility and gas-particle contact. Key features like pneumatically controlled divided loop-seals and bottom extraction connection have been thoroughly tested by means of a full-scale cold flow model experimental campaign.
