Abstract
⺠TIG welds produced with FeF2 powder had a satisfactory surface appearance. ⺠With FeO or FeS powder increases both the joint penetration and weld aspect ratio. ⺠With FeO or FeS powder reduces both the angular distortion and hot crack. ⺠FeO powder assisted TIG welding can significantly improve the weldment performances.
