Abstract
⺠The surface area of corn-stover biochar was increased by a factor > 60. ⺠The weight ratio of milling media:biochar was critical in maximizing surface area. ⺠Salt-assisted milling was most effective at a YSZ:NaCl mass ratio of 50:1.
