Abstract
⺠Spray roasting of iron chloride was investigated experimentally and numerically. ⺠We found the surface properties changing with increasing reaction progress. ⺠The experimental results were used to derive a numerical model. ⺠Particle formation and chemical reaction are included in the model. ⺠The model leads to better understanding of large scale spray roasting facilities.
