Abstract
⺠CFD-DEM has been developed to investigate particle characteristics in airway. ⺠The particle transport in pulmonary 3-5 generation airway has been investigated. ⺠CFD-DEM could properly simulate the particle behaviors in pulmonary airway. ⺠The characteristics of particle motions have been obtained based on simulation.
