Abstract
⺠The gas flow and particle movement in a divergent cyclone were studied. ⺠The inverted conical cyclone body can reduce the short-circuiting flow. ⺠The reflecting screen can prevent the backflow from taking away the particles. ⺠The suggesting operating gas inlet velocity range is from 14 m/s to 18 m/s.
