Abstract
⺠A new pneumatic conveying system with soft fins is proposed for reducing power consumption and conveying velocity. ⺠The pressure drop and minimum and critical velocities are reduced by using soft fins. ⺠The maximum reduction rate of power consumption is about 25.5%. ⺠The effective of soft fins is quite evident with increasing the fin's length.
