Abstract
► We examine de-aggregation behavior of alumina powders including aggregates with milling process. ► The result is compared with the theory of de-aggregation without breakage of initial particles. ► The experimental result matches theoretical one well for relatively short milling times. ► The presence of strongly bonded aggregates is the cause of mismatch between both results.
