Abstract
► Synthesizes spherical CoCO3 with the assistance of sodium dodecylsulphonate. ► Calcinating CoCO3 will obtain spherical Co3O4 aggregated by nanoparticles. ► The spherical morphology will be preserved after calcining. ► Increasing the calcination temperature will decrease the diameter of Co3O4 spheres. ► Co3O4 spheres reduce the decomposition temperature of ammonium perchlorate.
