Abstract
⺠A dynamic model of flexible filamentous particles were established. ⺠Bulk movements of particles in the transverse section of a flighted rotary dryer were investigated. ⺠A visible simulator of rotary system has been set up to verify the computational scheme. ⺠The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental findings by video-imaging.
