Abstract
The determination of the heat transfer coefficients of the impinging jets is carried out for numerous parameter combinations. Therefore the radial distribution of the local heat transfer coefficient is measured at the impinging plate and depicted in terms of Nu versus r/D graphs in the results section. Furthermore, the comparison of the experimental results to data obtained by the numerical flow simulation as well as the comparison with correlations found in literature is included in this section.
