Abstract
► Heat transfer in oscillating flow through a channel filled with metal foam. ► Model includes the Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer and corresponding energy equations. ► Metal foam in the channel enhances the heat transfer. ► Oscillatory flow enhances the heat transfer in porous media. ► This modeling can be useful for designing of metal foam filled heat sinks.
