Abstract
⺠The radiative characteristics of the cenosphere was studied by Monte Carlo ray tracing method. ⺠Influences of size parameter and optical constants on the radiative characteristics were discussed. ⺠Interface reflection model has crucial effects on the absorption and scattering properties of the cenosphere. ⺠Volumetric dimensionless absorptive distribution was obtained.
