Abstract
⺠We validate ARX models as tools for identification of the system's temperature. ⺠This is done through numerical simulations and laboratory representative tests. ⺠Model order is related to initial conditions and transfer function of the system. ⺠Non-zero initial conditions lead to high order models. ⺠All the influent variables have to be declared as inputs in the model.
