Abstract
⺠We developed analytical and semi-analytical procedures to solve thermal problems. ⺠They are based on 1D analytical solutions of transient thermal non-linear analyses. ⺠They are very fast and useful to predict thermal response of TPS and hot structures. ⺠They can be included in optimization procedures to size TPS of re-entry vehicles.
