Abstract
⺠A new theoretical model is used to study the heat transfer between fabric and skin. ⺠The heat flux through across the thermoreceptor beneath the skin is investigated. ⺠The triad parameter set is utilized to predict thermal stimulation of human skin. ⺠The effects of cooling fabric properties and stacking sequences are elucidated.
