Abstract
A cooling jet from the ceiling can be used to provide beneficial local cooling in warm offices. Cooling jet seems to increase thermal comfort and perceived indoor air quality, but also improve subjective working conditions. The use of local cooling may enable energy savings by allowing the room air temperature to rise without causing thermal discomfort.
