Abstract
The nude and clothed body models predictions are compared with published experimental data at a variety of ambient conditions and activity. The current model agrees well with experimental data during transitions from hot to cold environments and during changes in metabolic rate. Both the nude and clothed human model have an accuracy of less than 8% for the whole-body heat gains or losses; the nude human model has an accuracy of ±0.48°C for skin temperature values.
