Abstract
⺠Residential buildings constitute one of the largest demands for electricity. ⺠Air-conditioning places a large demand upon the central electrical system. ⺠The viability of eliminating electricity draws during peak periods is examined. ⺠Half the goal can be realized through design changes and operational measures. ⺠The remaining demand can be eliminated using PV and battery systems.
