Abstract
⺠We develop a method to automatically identify unique daylit spaces in a BIM model. ⺠Radiance generates spherical maps that are compared for unique geometry and materials. ⺠The method correctly identified the tested geometric and non-geometric variations. ⺠The method achieved accuracies in DSerr of 0-0.3%. ⺠The method also achieved reductions in simulation times of 60-76%.
