Abstract
⺠Solar absorptance for the clothed human body was quantified. ⺠Solar absorptance of a black-shirt and black-trousers combination was 0.76. âºÂ The white-shirt and white-trousers ensemble provided the minimum absorptance of 0.38. ⺠Solar absorptances of Japanese male subjects in casual clothing were obtained. ⺠Average solar absorptance of the subjects wearing casual clothing in summer was 0.66.
