Abstract
⺠The experimental and numerical investigation is done in a generic model room. ⺠We study the flow with laser light sheet visualization, LDV measurements and a DNS. ⺠We compare the experiment with the DNS, which was done in a room with reduced size. ⺠The mean velocity field of the large-scale flow does not change for Re â¥Â 1.5 Ã 104. ⺠We found coherent oscillations of the flow structures with a Re dependent frequency.
