Abstract
► A valid model to predict vertical temperature distribution for FHDV is developed. ► The prediction results agree quite well with the experimental data. ► The vertical temperature distribution for FHDV can be regard as linear. ► The “50-rule” for vertical temperature distribution is not appropriate to FHDV.
