Abstract
⺠Convection heat transfer in blind-window assemblies was characterized. ⺠Sensitivity studies quantified the effect of relevant variables on convection. ⺠An improved model of natural convection in window-blind systems is offered. ⺠Previously missing forced convection models were developed for several situations. ⺠Results conform well to the expected form for turbulent forced convection.
