Abstract
⺠A new model of the flow in a floor cavity with a hot cable in the adjacent wall. ⺠The flow rate is given as a function of the heating effect of the cable. ⺠The model gives the temperature and moisture profiles in the air gap. ⺠The model can be used to calculate the drying out capacity. ⺠The findings are in agreeable correspondence with empirical data.
