Abstract
► A new model of the flow in a floor cavity with a hot cable in the adjacent wall. ► The flow rate is given as a function of the heating effect of the cable. ► The model gives the temperature and moisture profiles in the air gap. ► The model can be used to calculate the drying out capacity. ► The findings are in agreeable correspondence with empirical data.
