Abstract
The paper is focused on an application of THz spectroscopy to detection, localisation and determination of shape of a water drop inclusion embedded in glass composite material. A fast method for localisation and roughly determination of the inclusion cross-section shape was proposed. Additionally a filtering method allowing determining a 3D image of the drop shape was developed. During analysis the influence of the surface roughness and the distance from the sample's surface to the inclusion on proposed methods' sensitivity were investigated.
