Abstract
⺠The literature on thixotropy modeling is reviewed. ⺠Emphasis is given on models for elasto-viscoplastic thixotropic materials. ⺠Models that use algebraic and differential stress equations are compared. ⺠Thixotropy is analyzed as a dynamic system whose equilibrium locus is the flow curve.
